Sunset students are starting off the year right harvesting from our Victory Garden using funds from the Daughters of the American Revolution Victory Grant.
Additionally, this hands-on student centered learning activity partners perfectly with Governor Gordon's Ride Initiative and Park 6 Classroom to Career focus. Students have been involved from the beginning learning about plants, starting the seeds, planting them, and now finally harvesting. Produce will be for sale Fridays after school at Sunset's Mini farmers market.
