Sunset Elementary

This morning Sunset celebrated Valentines Day with our PTO's Sweetheart Breakfast! Pancakes were the order of the day with butter, maple syrup, and all sorts of additions, whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate chips . . . According to one kindergartener, it was about making your pancake pretty! It was also about aerodynamics as syrup waterfalls were poured from great heights and pancakes sailed through the air to be caught (usually) on the uplifted plates of waiting students. What a great way to start a gray, snowy day! Thank you Sunset's amazing PTO and all the great parent volunteers who helped start our day with so much fun and joy, not to mention delicious and pretty pancakes!!
