Sunset PTO and Title One meeting is coming up!
As winter weather season approaches, we want Sunset Elementary School families to know our procedures for handling severe conditions. To ensure the safety of our staff and students, we developed a temporary virtual education policy (TVE). We will use virtual learning so we won’t have to make up a missed school day.
If schools close because of extreme weather we will have virtual learning days. During these TVEs, teachers will actively engage with students to ensure that teaching and learning continue during those days.
Kindergarten - 5th-grade students were assigned a learning resource titled “Brain Quest”. This resource provides a full year of classroom exercises and activities to support learning. There's some great Christmas entertainment coming up Tuesday, December 12th. Sunset 4th and 5th graders are performing "Twas One Crazy Night Before Christmas", under the direction of Miss Pinney. The performance is at the CHS Wynona Thompson Auditorium, performance time is 6:30 pm!
