Sunset families, please watch for your 2022-2023 returning student registration information coming to you by mail. You will need this information to complete the online returning student registration. The letters should be in your mailbox by the end of this week. If your student has any medication at school, please pick it up by Thursday, May 26, 1:35 p.m. Any medication not picked up by May 26 will be discarded. The school nurse cannot send any medication home with your student so you will need to make arrangements to pick these up yourselves. Please call me if you have any questions.
Sunset families, tomorrow, Wednesday, May 25th is our Bike Rodeo! Our students will be participating in bicycle safety with the Cody Police Department. Students will need to bring a bicycle and a helmet to school. Students may ride to school or have their bike dropped off. They must have a helmet to participate!
If your student's bike is being dropped off, there will be a designated area in the east parking lot for each grade. Please also make arrangements to get their bike at the end of the day.
There are 300 library books overdue from the Sunset School library. Parents please ensure your students return their overdue library books as soon as possible!
Sunset 2nd grade parents, the field trip to Red Lodge scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, May 19, is cancelled due to bad weather. Our teachers plan alternate activities tomorrow at school. There will also be a pizza lunch!
The 4th and 5th grades track meet is today, May 11! Here is the schedule if you want to watch your student.
